This week has been short but sweet! The ducklings went for their first swim! We built a pretty cool water park and watched as they splashed and paddled in their new environment. We have been learning all about ducks and how they have waterproof feathers! We firmly made marks on paper using wax crayons, sprayed, squeezed and dropped water on the marks and watched as the water sat on top of the marks, making the paper waterproof!
In maths we have been halving. When we halve something, we split it into 2 equal parts. We have been halving fruit by cutting it exactly down the middle, halving numbers, paper, string and shapes.
Thank you to all the families who attended our woodland adventure at Gladstone Park on Thursday. It was wonderful to see you interacting with your children. We hope you had as much fun as we did!
