GOOD MORNING (- for the last time from my living room)!
I cannot believe it is the last day of Year 2 for us, nor can I believe that after two years together we only get to say our goodbyes online - how strange! If you want to post a message on Seesaw to everyone, today is your last chance to do so.
First of all, I would like say a massive THANK YOU and WELL DONE to all of you for the hard work and effort you have put into everything since we were in Robin Class - you really are amazing! You have honestly made me smile everyday, and this year in particular, have reminded me of why I became a teacher (to work with lovely children like yourselves).
Second of all, I want you to help me say a massive THANK YOU to your parents/brothers/sisters/grandparents/child-minders for taking my place and teaching you at home since March. It isn't an easy job to do, particularly when they also have other tasks to be doing too (- we're lucky as we know what we do in school every day, whereas your grown ups have had to guess, so well done to them!). Please take some time over the next six weeks to show them how much you appreciate them - why not make them a thank you card, share a story or draw them a gorgeous picture?
Lastly, I wish you all a wonderful, relaxing, fun-filled summer. Try to still do a little bit of learning each day to keep your brains growing, ready for September. I am so excited for you for next year, you couldn't be in better hands with your new teacher, she really is amazing! Although I'll be upstairs, I will make sure I come and see you, particularly on our first day back in September - I'm already looking forward to it!
As always, stay safe and keep looking after each other.
Sending much love to you and your families,
Ms Freezer. x
P.S. 'Happy Birthday!' to Rayan, Kishan, Zeikah, Zeynep, Nathaniel and Jenny who will be celebrating over the summer, have a lovely time and eat lots of cake!
