Last Friday we learned how to add ed to words to make the Simple Past Tense Regular.
Today we will learn about the Simple Past Tense Irregular. Watch the video!

If this was hard to understand, do not worry. We will do it again!

Tuesday 23rd June 2020

Join in with the video to practise reading these words. How many can you spell? If there are any you can't spell yet, write them out and practise spelling them!

The wh sound.

Watch the video to practise the wh sound. Write down the wh words in the video and then write them in a sentence. Draw a picture to go with each sentence.

Just for fun, play the Teddy Game!

Wednesday 24th June 2020

Listen to the song. Write down the question words: who, what, when, where, why. Practise spelling them!

Now read the questions:

Who is your teacher?

What do you like for lunch?

Where do you want to go on holiday?

Why do you like school?

When is your birthday?

Which vegetable do you like best?

How old are you?

Now think about someone you live with. Think of and write down questions beginning with WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN WHY WHICH HOW.Then go and interview that person!  (An interview is when you ask someone questions to find out more about someone). For example,

Who do you think is the best singer?

Which colour do you like best?

Where  were you born?

When are we having dinner?

Why are you smiling?

What is your address?

How many books do you have?

Thursday 25th June 2020

Listen to the story and follow the words. Then answer the questions:

Where did Ted put his bed?
What colour is Ted's bed, Ted's shed, Ted's telephone, Ted's flowers and Ted's cup?
Why did Ted go up on his stool?
What did he get from his tool box?
Why was he sawing the log?
Where are the little mice?
Where is the snail?
Why do you think everyone is huffing and puffing?
Do you like the caravan? Why/Why not?
How do you think the horse is feeling?
