The Haka Dance

Still image for this video

The Haka is a ceremonial dance or challenge in Maori culture. It is performed  by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet to accompany a loud chant.

New Zealand sports teams'practice of performing a haka before their international matches has made the haka more widely known around the world.

I think it is one of the most intimidating and intense rituals of any sport. This advert shows it in its purest form!

Today's task:

Create your own dance and write instructions on how to learn it. You can record yourselves performing the dance and upload your video on Seesaw.
