This week we read the story Oliver's Fruit Salad. We talked about our favourite fruits and wrote a shopping list so Miss Hillis could buy fruit for our fruit salad.
We got busy in the kitchen learning how to cut fruit safely using knives. We then enjoyed a delicious fruit salad containing pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, banana, apple and tangerine - yum yum!
In phonics, we learnt the 'o' sound. We practised writing 'o' and saying the mnemonic "all around the orange octopus".
