Español at Mora
Learning an additional language provides the children at Mora with a valuable educational, social and cultural experience. It helps them to develop communication skills and extends their knowledge of how language works. It also provides children with an additional perspective on the world, encouraging them to understand their own cultures and those of others.
Children from years Year 3 to Year 6 are taught Spanish. We use the Language Angels Scheme of Work and resources to support us in the teaching of Spanish.

Our wonderful Year 1 and Year 2 children have been learning songs in Spanish and hands-on games as a fun way to learn new vocabulary and practice pronunciation.
