Science Week at home!

Welcome to a whole week of exciting experiments. This year we are celebrating all things science through the British Science Week theme, ‘Growth.’

 

Check this space every day this week, for an activity you can do at home. Please do share any photos or products from your experiments with, Ms Whittlestone or Miss Noor. Team science can’t wait to see how you celebrate at home!

Tuesday - Dissect a flower

 

A flower dissection is a simple spring science activity that can easily be adapted for different ages.

Younger children can pull the flower apart and identify the stem, leaves and petals.

Older children can look in more detail and identify the reproductive parts of the plant too!
