Matching Numbers
We are going shopping to buy ingredients to make soup. We are counting the different vegetables e.g. how many carrots, how many potatoes etc. The children are playing games to help them with their number recognition e.g. using large number line outside to find a given number. The children are threading cotton wheels, counting how many and then finding that amount on a number fan.
