The Early Years at Mora
The Early Years Foundation Stage at Mora is a welcoming and exciting place for children to learn and grow. In the Early Years we take different approaches to learning to ensure that all children achieve and feel successful.
We offer a holistic approach to learning, focused around the key areas of young child's development. Children are given a wide variety of experiences, some that are led by adults and others that the children develop. Teaching through play is an integral part of the Early Years. Children are provided with a variety of opportunities to explore, experience and investigate. We encourage our children to take 'charge' of their learning and become independent learners.
The Early Years Foundation Stage is made up of Nursery and Reception. We have two part-time morning Nursery classes and two full time Reception classes. The children in the Nursery and Reception have the opportunity to learn and play together for part of their day.
