Even though your child has only just begun Year 6, now is an important time to start making decisions about their transition to secondary school.
Secondary schools hold open days and evenings during September and October for prospective pupils and parents to have a look around the school. Additionally, this provides opportunity to speak to members of staff. We highly recommend that you visit your preferred school and any schools you intend to apply to.
Attached with this letter is an outline of the secondary school open events taking place in Brent and Camden in autumn term. If you are considering a school outside of Brent/Camden, please visit the local authority website for more information, or contact the school you are interested in directly.
You need to apply before the deadline of 31 October 2023 for Year 7 applications for September 2024 entry. We will provide further information about the process of applying for a secondary school in the next few weeks.
