Making a difference

Online Safety

Online Safety

Being a parent to a child of the digital generation can be challenging. The Breck Foundation is a charity that works with parents, carers and children to educate and empower them to make better decisions to stay safer online.

On Friday 2nd October, the Breck Foundation will be presenting to children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

To support your conversations around online safety with your children, the Breck Foundation will also run an informative presentation via a zoom call for all parents/carers of Mora Primary School. The Breck Foundation will give advice on online risks, what to look out for and where to go for help.

When: Friday 2nd October 2020

Time: 7:30pm

Where: From the comfort of your own home. Follow the link below to access the zoom meeting.

Please check your Parent Mail account for the zoom link and passcode.

It is vital in this age of digital technology that parents understand how their children are communicating online and who with.

Some of the topics covered in the presentation are listed below:

  • Online bullying
  • Online gaming
  • Online grooming
  • Social media
  • Online security

We look forward to supporting this conversation around online safety.
