Brent Swimming Gala
Year 6 entered the 2021 Brent Swimming Gala on the 19th January at Willesden Sports Centre. We had a strong team of 10 swimmers who competed against 6 other schools. Although the other schools were tough competition, we gave it our best shot. We swam in a variety of races including breast stroke, back stroke, free style and a medley of relays. This gave Year 6 a chance to showcase a range of swimming techniques which they had recently been practising during their school swim lessons. The team cheered each other on and words of encouragement kept them going even when the competition was tough. There was a real sense of team spirit and we left the Gala on a high.
