  • Remote Learning Guidance

    Thank you to all of the parents who guided their children to attend the first live sessions this morning. It was so lovely to see most of the children's smiling faces!

     

    Guidance videos which may help you to access the remote learning can be found under the Children tab -> Video Resource Centre. You can also click here to access the videos. These should help you to navigate logging on, the Class Notebook and live sessions. 

     

    A guide for accessing remote learning with a PHONE or TABLET has been put on the Virtual Learning page.

  • Increasing data allowances on mobile devices to support disadvantaged children

    This government scheme temporarily increases data allowances for mobile phone users on certain networks. This is so that children and young people can access remote education if their face-to-face education is disrupted.

     

    Who can get help

    Schools can request mobile data increases for children and young people who:

    • do not have fixed broadband at home
    • cannot afford additional data for their devices
    • are experiencing disruption to their face-to-face education

     

    Children with access to a mobile phone on one of the following networks might be able to benefit:

    • Three
    • Smarty
    • Virgin Mobile
    • EE
    • Tesco Mobile
    • Sky Mobile

     

    How to request a mobile data increase

    For each request, email the office at admin@mora.brent.sch.uk with ALL of the information below:

    • the name of the account holder
    • the number of the mobile device
    • the mobile network of that device (for example Three)

     

    Once a network provider has processed a data increase, they’ll send a text message to the account holder.

  • Remote Learning

    All parents have been sent details (via Parent Mail) of the remote learning being made available to children during this national lockdown.
