Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
As you know, Mora Primary School has teamed up with the Akshaya Patra charity to provide free meals to the community during these half-term holidays. This was in response to the current Covid-19 situation, which we know has hit some of our families hard.
Mora Primary School and some of our wonderful families have been featured in the media. Please click on the links below to read the articles:
Kilburn Times - "Cricklewood primary school feeding the community hot meals during half term"
The Guardian - "Indian child poverty charity offers free school meals in England"
Remember, free meals will continue to be provided on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October.
Dear Families
During this difficult time, The Akshaya Patra Foundation UK has offered to provide support for the local community, particularly for Mora families impacted by the current crisis.
They are planning to supply free vegetarian meals during the half-term break. Their efforts will be supported by volunteers who will hand out meals from 12.30 – 1 at Mora Primary and Nursery School, Tuesday – Friday, in half- term only.
There will be 100 fresh meals here on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week.
We want this project to be successful and we really don’t want the food to go to waste so please come along and take the free delicious meals from the main playground
Kind regards
